Concrete is one area where we know we can make a considerable impact. BAM has led the way in adopting innovative low-carbon concrete so we can continue to deliver resilient. durable solutions while reducing our environmental impact. For example. using Cemfree concrete to upgrade Chatham Station in Kent saved 62t of carbon. It was also the largest continuous Cemfree concrete pour at that time. The low-carbon concrete used to strengthen the sea wall at Dawlish saved around 1.130t of carbon compared to traditional concrete. ensuring the solution was a greener shade of green.
